The Founder
Richard's Story
After a rock-climbing accident shattered my body, the “experts” offered me pills and painkillers — never solutions. I chose a different path.
I dedicated myself to understanding the human body — the relationship between muscular pain and emotional trauma, the power of movement to heal anxiety, stress, depression, and trauma. Over 18+ years, I've performed thousands of individual assessments, owned and operated a CrossFit gym for seven years, and traveled globally to teach and learn.
My mission is to help others transform — coaches and clients alike — so they never have to settle for less than a thriving, confident, integrated life. That's why I built Moved Academy: to give coaches the system, the community, and the confidence to lead with real understanding.
