Moved Academy · Level 1 Live Intensive
Understand the patterns shaping how your clients move—not just the positions you’re trying to correct.
You know exercises. The harder question is knowing what to choose, why to choose it, and what to look for next.
The Moved Academy Level 1 Live Intensive is designed to help you develop a deeper lens for human movement—connecting observation, tension, nervous-system principles, and exercise choice within a practical coaching framework.
Learn directly with Richard Aceves across three live sessions, with the full self-paced Level 1 Certification course included.
The coaching problem
A client’s movement looks different. A cue doesn’t land. An exercise that worked last week gets a different response today.
This intensive gives you a guided introduction to the Moved framework for working through those questions—without reducing every client to the same protocol.
What “dissolve” means
“We don’t solve problems. We dissolve them” describes our coaching philosophy: look beyond the isolated movement you want to correct and examine the patterns shaping it.
It is not a promise to eliminate pain or injury. It is an invitation to develop a more complete way of observing, choosing, and reassessing.

Intended learning outcomes
These are the capabilities the intensive is designed to develop. They are intended learning outcomes, not guaranteed results.
Learn to consider tension, movement strategy, breathing, and the client’s response alongside what a movement looks like.
Use the Moved guiding principles, torque chains, and pyramids to organize your observations and inform your next coaching decision.
Practice explaining why you selected an exercise, what response you are looking for, and what might lead you to change your approach.
Work through a process for gathering observations, making a coaching choice, and checking what changed.
Build a framework for asking better questions and adapting your coaching to the person in front of you.
A shift in the question
From “What exercise fixes this?”to “What am I observing, what should I try, and how will I know whether it helped?”

No. The promise is coaching education: better observation, more intentional exercise selection, and a clearer assessment-and-reassessment framework. It is not a promise to eliminate pain or injury, and it does not replace appropriate medical assessment.
